John F. Higgins, 50, of Medway died unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, July 4, 2012.

Born in Natick on January 23, 1962, he was a son of Margaret L. (Malloy) Higgins of Medway and the late Henry T. Higgins.

Mr. Higgins was a lifelong resident of Medway and graduated from Medway High School in 1980. He attended UMass and later graduated from ITT Technical Institute in Norwood.

Mr. Higgins proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1983-1987 attaining the rank of corporal.

He had worked as an electronics test technician at the former CTDI in Westborough.

Mr. Higgins was an avid Patriots fan and enjoyed military history and trips to places of military significance.

Besides his mother, he is survived by; three brothers, Lance P. Higgins of Medway, Thomas J. Higgins of Brighton and David D. Higgins of Milford, a sister, Jane F. Higgins-Greene and her husband Brian Greene of Medway, a niece, Kathryn Greene and two nephews Brandon and James Greene.

He was the brother of the late Francis D. Higgins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral from the Ginley-Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway on Tuesday, July 10 at 9:15 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church, 151 Village St. in Medway at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Medway.

Calling hours will be held on Monday from 5 – 8 p.m.

John D. Coady 79 of Medway died July 18. He was the husband of Margaret A. (Kennedy) Coady.
Born in Somerville, March 17, 1933, the son of the late David and Evelyn (Gutteridge) Coady, Mr. Coady was raised in the Jamaica Plain section of Boston and had lived in Medway since 1959.
Mr. Coady had been a machinist in the local area.
He served in the Marine Corps during the Korean War. John had been a member of the Medway VFW and the Franklin Lodge of Elks.
Fishing was a favorite pastime.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his sons John Jr. of Bellingham and Michael Coady of Holly Springs North Carolina.
He is also survived by his granddaughters Alicia and Jessica.
His funeral will be held on Monday July 23 in St. Joseph Church Medway at 11:00.
Burial will be private. Visitation will be on Monday from 9:30-11:00 in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 3 Barber St. Medway.

Mary Catherine (Drohan) Castignetti, 86, of Medway, died, Friday, July 27, 2012 at the Medway Country Manor Nursing Home. She was the wife of Geno J. Castignetti who still resides in Medway.

Mrs. Castignetti was born in Palmer, MA on December 8, 1925 and graduated from Framingham High School in 1943 with honors. After marriage, she moved to Holliston where she lived from 1951 to 1970. She moved to Medway in 1970 and lived there until her death.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Geno, two sons Joseph of Medway and Geno, Jr. of Geneseo, NY and her daughter Maureen of Long Beach, CA.

She is also survived by six grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Medway Country Manor for their care and support. The family would also like to send special thanks to Kelly Castignetti for her care and support.

Her graveside service will be held at Southborough Rural Cemetery in Southborough on Tuesday, July 31 at 2 p.m.

Mary L. (Clark) Kelley 85, of Framingham died July 31 in the Metro West Medical Center in Framingham. She was the wife of the late John P. Kelley who died in 1983.
Born in Attleboro, February 4, 1927, the daughter of the late Raymond and Lettie (Bassett) Clark, Mrs. Kelley was raised in Attleboro and had lived in Roslindale for several years prior to moving to Framingham many years ago.
A homemaker for most of her life, she had also worked as a clerk at the Caldor Department Store in Framingham.
Mary loved to collect dolls but her favorite thing in all the world was to be with her family.
She is survived by her children, Mark D. Kelley of San Diego, CA. John P. Kelley, Jr. of Framingham and Robin D. Kelley of Framingham. She was the mother of the late Kevin C. Kelley.
She is also survived by her sister Madeline Griffin of Medway.
She was the sister of the late Barbara Griffin, Kenneth, Leroy, Harry and Norman Clark.
She is also survived by her granddaughter Laura M. Kelley.
Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday August 4 in the Ginley Crowley funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 3 Barber St. Medway from 4-6.
Services and internment will be private.

Lawrence “Larry” K. Henneberry 55, formerly of Medway, died August 2 in Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston.
Born in Milford June 2, 1957, the son of the late Lawrence K. and Helen (Bullard) Henneberry, Sr., Mr. Henneberry was raised and lived in Medway for most of his life prior to moving to Oak Bluffs, Martha’s Vineyard several years ago.
Mr. Henneberry was a graduate of Medway High School.
He had been employed as a salesman for Lombard Equipment Company for many years.
Larry enjoyed his life and lived it to the fullest.
He is survived by his son Erik Henneberry of Oak Bluffs and a sister Karen Henneberry of Medway.

Thelma (Wilson) Kephart 90, of Medway died suddenly August 5 in Milford Regional
Medical Center. She was the wife of the late John E. Kephart, Jr.
Born in Darby, Pennsylvania, December 25, 1921, the daughter of the late William and Jennie (Clingain) Wilson, Mrs. Kephart was raised in Collingdale, Pennsylvania, and had lived in Geneseo, New York for over twenty years before moving to North Carolina where she lived for many years prior to moving to Medway 2 years ago.
She was a graduate of Collingdale High School, Drexel University and received a Master in education from Temple University.
Mrs. Kephart had been professor at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois, and Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California. She late taught for many years in Perry High School in Perry, New York.
Following her retirement she enjoyed and kept active by writing articles and poems for newspapers and magazine.
She had volunteered at SIMUSA in the Media Department and had supported numerous missionaries throughout the world thru Wycliffe Bible Translators.
She was a woman of strong faith who was devoted to serving the Lord.
She is survived by her children, Jean Schultz and her husband Rev. Carl Schultz of Uxbridge and Tim Kephart and his wife Jackie of Glendorn, California.
She is also survived by her brother Alfred Wilson of Florida and was the sister of the late Russell Wilson.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Carl Jr., and Annika Schultz and Cory and Andrew Kephart.
Her funeral service will be held on Thursday August 9 in the Medway Community church at 11:00.
Burial will be private.

William “Bill” Shontz Bates, 90, passed away Monday, August 13, 2012 peacefully with his daughters by his side at The Village of Willow Crossings in Mansfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Thelma Bates and his wife of 48 years, Edith Smith Bates. He is survived by two daughters, Virginia “Becky” Bates Carson (Tom) of Medway and Kathryn “Kathy” Bates Denhard (Tony Naess) of Columbus, OH. He will be sadly missed by his 5 grandchildren, David Carson (Betsy) of St. Louis, MO, Greg Carson (Tracy) of Warwick, RI, Laura Carson Wheeler (Jeff) of Nottingham, NH, William Denhard (Lisa) of Columbus, OH and Paul Denhard of Pittsburgh, PA. Bill was also blessed to have known his great-grandchildren, Ava Carson, Emma Carson, Alexandra and Liam Wheeler, and Quinn Denhard.

Bill was born in Philipsburg, PA and attended Penn State University, graduating in Ceramic Engineering in 1942. There he met Edith and they were married in 1943 in Carlsbad, NM where he was stationed for training in the Army Air Corp as a bombardier/navigator with the 100th Bomb Group. He completed 35 missions.

After the war, Bill began his career in Ceramic Engineering with Spectrochemical Laboratories in Pittsburgh as Vice President in Sales until his retirement in 1992.

He received much recognition for his volunteer work with the American Ceramic Society. While Bill had many interests, his favorite activity was spending time with his family and celebrating life.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Franklin at 2:00 pm. Burial will be held at a later date in Murrysville, PA.

Born in Cambridge, July 12, 1957, the daughter of the late Selbert Byone and Pauline Daley, Mrs. Rabess-Daley was raised and lived in Cambridge for many years before moving to Milford 12 years ago.
She had worked in the cafeteria at Memorial Elementary School in Milford for the past 5 years.
Olivia loved to travel, go to the beach and to spend time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband she is also survived by her children, Desmond Daley of New Hampshire, Drina Daley of Cambridge and Curvus Rabess, Jr. of Milford.
She was the sister of the late Martha Daley and Alfreida Lynch.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Janoah, Troy, Ganyya, Omari and Solange.
She is leaves her godchild Nerecesa Pires and a host of family and friends.
Her funeral service will be held on Saturday August 25 in the Medway Village Church, 170, Village St. Medway at 10:30.
Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Medway.
Visitation will be on Saturday from 9; 30-10; 30 in the Village Church.

Norma (Chase) Milligan Houghton, 90, passed away on Tuesday August 21 at Milford Regional Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Robert Milligan and the late Raymond Houghton.
Born in Bellingham, November 10, 1921, the daughter of the late Harry and Zella (Whiting) Chase, Norma was raised and had lived in Medway for most of her life. She was a 1940 graduate of Medway High School.
She had studied at the Milford Conservatory of Music and later taught private piano lessons. During the 1940’s she served as a member of the P. T. A., the Child Study Group and was President of the Medway Women’s Club. She was a Past Noble Grand of the Rosalie Rebekah Lodge serving on the State Board of the Rebekahs, as well as Past President of the Past Noble Grand Association.
Norma was also a member of the Ladies Encampment Auxiliary and a member of the International Order of King’s Daughters and Sons. Norma was active in craft classes at Medway Friends of Elders and was also an active member of the Christ Episcopal Church in Medway. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, playing Bingo and watching the Boston Red Sox.
She is survived by her son David Milligan and his wife Susan of Norfolk and Boynton Beach, Florida, daughters Marian Kennedy of Bellingham , Jane Milligan and her husband Chet Latin of Milford, CT., and the late Anne Mahan. She is also survived b her son-in-law Joseph Mahan of Medway.
She was the sister of the late Russell and Stanley Chase of Bellingham.
She also leaves behind nine grandchildren, Michael Kennedy, Robert Kennedy, Colleen Kennedy DelMonaco, Tim Milligan, Kate Milligan, Thomas Pepin, Andrew Mahan, and Mathew Mahan as well as 13 great-grandchildren.
She was loved by all and will be dearly missed.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday August 24 in Christ Episcopal Church, Medway at 1:00p.m.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Medway.

Daniel O’Neill, 60 of Medway died September 4 in his home following a long illness. He was the husband of Wendy Lee (DeDoming) O’Neill.
Born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, August 16, 1952 the son of the Rose (Millette) Hooper and her husband Earl Hooper of Medway and the late Robert O’Neill, Mr. O’Neill was raised in Medway and had lived in Upton for ten years prior to returning to Medway several years ago.
Mr. O’Neill had worked for the ACME Waterproofing Company of Rockland for over ten years.
Mr. O’Neill had been a member of the Bricklayers Union Local 3 and had previously been a member of the Laborers Union Local 223.
Dan was a real outdoorsman; he loved to hunt deer and to take his children fishing.
He also loved old cars, to work on them and to watch shows about them on TV.
In addition to his wife and his parents he is survived by his children, Daniel O’Neill of Woonsocket, RI., Joseph E. O’Neill of Medway, Katie Rose O’Neill and her fiancé Robert Tonsberg of N. Attleboro, Thomas O’Neill of Medway and Timothy O’Neill of Medway.
He is also survived by his siblings, Carol Griffin of Bellingham, Robin Riviera of Attleboro, Stephen O’Neill of Medway, David O’Neill of Medway, Donna Cassidy of Medway and John O’Neill of Millis.
He was the brother of the late Robert O’Neill.
He is also survived by his granddaughter Kyleigh Rose and a large extended family.

Raymond Henry Kalukin of West Hartford, CT, passed away on December 30, 2011. Ray was born in Worcester on March 27, 1918 to Wladislaw (William) and Maria (Klimaszewska) Kalukin. He is predeceased by a sister Laura Knapp and survived by a brother Edward Kalukin.
He attended Classical High School in Worcester. Ray is a WWII Navy veteran (1942-1945) serving aboard YMS-15 and USS Harding as a Machinist’s Mate First Class through five North Africa and European campaigns.
After WWII, Ray completed Certification for Tool Manufacturing at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He was employed as a toolmaker at American Steel and Wire, then as foreman at Wickwire Spencer of Worcester where he met Edna (Smith), his wife of 52 years. In 1963, he moved his family to CT, employed as foreman at Peck Spring Company in Plainville, CT.
Grandchildren and machining were Ray’s joys in retirement.
Ray is survived by his wife Edna, two sons and their families, Andrew, Anjali and grandson Ananda of Arlington, VA and Jeffrey, Eileen, grandson Ryan and granddaughter Hayley of Medway.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 8, 2012, 2:30pm at the West Hartford United Methodist Church, 1358 New Britain Avenue, West Hartford, CT.

Chester “Chet” E. Mosher, 49, of Medway died suddenly January 31 at Milford Regional Medical Center after being stricken with a heart attack while at work.
Born in Boston on June 20, 1962, the son of the late Edwin J. and Lorraine (Soucie) Mosher, Mr. Mosher was a lifelong Medway resident.
Mr. Mosher was a graduate of Medway High School and had attended Northeastern University.
Mr. Mosher had been a letter carrier for over 20 years working out of the Franklin Post Office.
He served in the Navy during the early 1980’s.
Chet enjoyed hiking, canoeing, electronics and collecting comic books.
He is survived by his sister Lori Ann Mosher Murphy and her husband James Murphy of Medway.
His funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 4 in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home 3 Barber St. in Medway at 9:00 a.m.
Burial will be in Rural Cemetery in New Bedford.

Alice (Kennedy) Lafleur of Hudson and Acton, MA passed away on Sept.
23, 2012, at the age of 91, and in the company of her loving family. Alice
was born in Bristol, CT on May 12, 1921, the daughter of Alice (McKernan)
and Raymond Kennedy. She attended schools in Agawam, MA and graduated
from Agawam H.S.

Alice married the love of her life, Vincent A. Lafleur in 1943. During
the war-time years and her husband’s military deployment, Alice worked for
the Springfield Bank & Trust. After the war her family moved to Levittown,
NY and thereafter to Farmingdale, ME before finally relocating to Hudson, MA
in 1964. While her family and home remained Alice’s first and greatest
priorities, she also served on the Marlborough Hospital Auxiliary board of
directors and joined the Catholic Daughters local affiliate of Christ the King Church in Hudson. A source of great satisfaction for her was her work with this group’s scholarship committee, and the recognition that the
scholarships awarded would ease the financial burdens of aspiring young
scholars. Alice also loved and excelled at crafting including her rug braiding, stained glass, professional level cake decorating (including her oldest son’s wedding cake), love for flower gardening and cooking.

Alice endured many physical hardships and challenges later in her life, but always retained a sense of optimism and the courage to keep on fighting. That courage and strength, as well as her sense of humor will forever be remembered and cherished by her family and friends.

Alice is survived by her four children: Allan and his wife, Martha of
Keene, NH; Katherine Dittami and her husband, Alexander, of Hampton Falls,
NH.; Janet Bentley and her husband, Jeffrey, of Westford, MA; and John and
his wife, Stephanie, of Medway, MA. She is also survived by her 9
grandchildren and by 7 great-grandchildren. Alice is additionally survived by
her sister-in-law, Sr. Virginia Lafleur of Dorval Quebec. Her husband,
Vincent, died in 1981.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday Sept.26 th at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael’s Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial will follow in Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Marlboro. Margaret A. Henry, 91, of Medway, died Monday, October 1, 2012 at the Medway Country Manor Nursing Home.

Born in Milford on February 7, 1921, she was a daughter of the late John and Marion (Dowd) Henry.

Miss Henry was a lifelong resident of Medway and graduated from Medway High School.

Before her retirement, she worked at the former Cushing Hospital in Framingham for many years.

Miss Henry was a longtime communicant of St. Joseph Church in Medway.

She is survived by her sister Eileen M. Henry of Medway and her friend Arlene Hall and her family of Medway.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, October 5 from 9 – 9:30 a.m. at Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway followed by a funeral Mass at St. Joseph’s Church, 151 Village St. in Medway at 10:00 a.m.

Flora J. (McDonald) Sheppard 75, of Medway died October 5 in Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston. She was the wife of Carl J. Sheppard.
Born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, Canada, June 4, 1937, the daughter of the late Murray and Catherine (Ranson) McDonald, Mrs. Sheppard was raised in Canada and came to the States in 1962, first living in the Jamaica Plain section of Boston. She moved to Medway in 1969 where she has lived ever since.
Mrs. Sheppard had been a home health aide in the Medway area.
Taking care of people whether at her job or helping her family brought Flora her greatest happiness.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Carl Sheppard Jr. and his wife Nancy of Medway, Barbara Hutt and her husband Charlie of Medway, Cathy Rigney of Medway, Tina Sheppard of Medway and Eric Sheppard of Medway.
She is also survived by her siblings, Dannie, Nina, Bobby, Mable, Tina and Molly and was the sister of the late Murray, Burt, Francis and Marilyn.
Flora is also survived by her grandchildren, Stephanie, Stacey, Jenny, C.J., Sarah, Gillian, Kayla, Deanna and Samantha, and her great-grandchildren Olivia and Ryan.

Rosalie M. (Piccinatti ) Arzillo, 89, formerly of Long Island, NY, died Sunday, October 7, 2012 at the Berkshire Place Nursing Home in Pittsfield.

Born in Morgantown, West Virginia on May 10, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Patsy and Marie (Cacalli) Piccinatti.

She is survived by two sons, Fred Arzillo and his wife Sue of Sparks, Nevada and Pat Arzillo and his wife Patricia of Medway.

She is also survived by five grandchildren, Nicole, Brandon, Noelle, Traci and Kimmy Arzillo and one great-grandson Reno.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, October 11 from 9 – 9:30 a.m. at the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway followed by a funeral Mass at St. Joseph’s Church, 151 Village St. in Medway at 10:00 a.m.

Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

Richard H. Potter, Jr., of Natick, died with his loving family by his side, October 23, 2013 at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham, MA after a long illness. He was born on March 8, 1933 in Natick, MA devoted son of the late Richard H. and Greta (Morrill) Potter. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Mary (Carroll) Potter; his loving family, Charles R. Potter and Rhonda Crosby of Milford, MA, Christine A. and Robin Chesley of Medway, MA, and Steven K. Potter of Natick, MA, along with his loving grandchildren, Morgan Chesley, Amanda Chesley, Michael Chesley, Brett Crosby and Nicole Crosby, sisters in law Lois R. Potter of Natick , Rose Marie Potter of Eastham, as well as many, many good friends. He was the brother of the late Robert C. Potter and Arthur C. Potter As stated by one of his best friends: “ I have fond memories of Dick that go back to our early childhood. He was a very, very good man, modest, honest, with clear integrity. I know of many instances in which he quietly helped people in need which to he was the natural response. He had a strong sense of what was correct and what was wrong and he never deviated from this. Above all I recall the love he always expressed for mother and all the family. He was a dear friend to me, and I will miss him.” He grew up and spent his entire life in Natick, MA and graduated from Natick High School in 1951. After high school he graduated Bentley College in Boston, MA, where he received degrees in Banking & Finance as well as Accounting. He went on to continue and expand his education in many areas including Finance and Computer Science. His hobbies included furniture making, wood working and advising friends and family on anything in life. He began to work for Natick Federal Savings as a teller in 1949, and became Treasurer and then President and CEO before retiring in 1998. He worked and served as a board member at Natick Federal for 61 consecutive years before retiring as a member of their Board in 2012. Richard also served his community in many ways. He volunteered and sat on the Board of Directors for Leonard Morse Hospital, he was President of The Jaycees, President of the Natick Down Town Merchants Association, Treasurer of The Natick Comets, Treasurer of The March of Dimes, Treasurer of Maria Hayes Home,and Treasurer of the Natick 4th of July Committee for many years of his life. He loved and committed his life to his family, his friends and his community. At Mr Potter’s request, private family services will be held at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street Natick. Burial at Dell Park Cemetery. Edward V. Brown, 86, of Medway, died November 12, 2012 at the Medway Country Manor Nursing Home. He was the beloved husband of Irene (Timchalk) Brown who died in 2008. Born in Harlem, NY on August 10, 1926, he was the son of the late John and Julia (von Freidrich) Brown. Mr. Brown was a resident of Medway since 2006 and formerly resided in Bronx, New York. Mr. Brown was an Army veteran of WWII. Before his retirement, he worked at Invirex in Huntington, NY for many years retiring as vice-president. A devoted Catholic, Mr. Brown was a communicant of St. Joseph Church in Medway and was a longtime communicant of St. Benedict Church in the Bronx. He is survived by two daughters Faye Reichel and her husband Phil of Alexandria, VA and Susan Segarre and her husband Jeffrey of Medway, a son Dr. John Brown II and his wife Celeste of Baltimore, MD, seven grandchildren and a brother John Brown of Bayside Queens, NY. He was predeceased by eight siblings. Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, November 16 from 6 – 8 p.m. in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway. Burial will take place in St. Raymond Cemetery in Bronx, New York. Marion R. Taylor, 97, of West St. Medway passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at her home. She was the wife of the late Wilfred Taylor and mother of the late Richard W. Taylor. Mrs. Taylor was born August 16, 1915 in Mendon, daughter of the late Henry W. and Delina R. (Jacques) Bouchard, the third of eight children. Marion attended Mendon schools graduating high school as salutatorian in 1933. During World War II Mrs. Taylor was employed at A. J. Knott in Milford, afterwards becoming a homemaker and mother. Mrs. Taylor was a noted candlepin bowler throughout the Milford area. She was a member of many women’s bowling leagues, often receiving write-ups in the Milford Daily News for her impressive bowling scores. Marion volunteered for many years as a Girl Scout leader in Milford. Her other interests were reading, crossword puzzles, needlework, sewing, and gardening. She especially enjoyed family gatherings and was the matriarch of the Bouchard family. Auntie Mae will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Taylor is survived by her daughter Margaret (Taylor) Manning and her husband Walter of Franklin, her grandsons James Manning of Franklin and Scott Manning of Boston, her sister Janet (Bouchard) Klein of Mendon, three sisters-in-law Claire and Virginia Bouchard and Lois Taylor, brother-in-law Douglas Taylor, and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Taylor is predeceased by five brothers Henry, Dona, Wilfred, Arthur and Ernest Bouchard and one sister, Irene (Bouchard) Aldrich. Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Saturday, November 24 from 9 – 10 a.m. in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home 3 Barber Street in Medway followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Medway. Thomas H. Hodge, Jr., 81, of Medway and formerly of Lincoln, Delaware and Glen Bernie, Maryland, died November 21 in the Milford Regional Healthcare Center in Milford. He was the husband of the late Audrey E. (Miller) Hodge, who died in 2011. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, December 25, 1930, the son of the late Thomas and Dorothy (Schoenfelder) Hodge, Sr., Mr. Hodge was raised in Baltimore and had lived in Glen Burnie for many years before moving to Delaware where he lived until coming to Medway four years ago. He was a graduate of St. Joseph Academy in Baltimore. Mr. Hodge had been a superintendent for the General Motors Corporation in its parts department for over thirty years. Mr. Hodge served in the Navy during the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion, the Moose Club and the Elks Club. Mr. Hodge had been a volunteer at Norwood Hospital and had previously been a hospital volunteer in Delaware. He is survived by his children, Rick Hodge and his wife Lynn of Atlanta, Georgia, Kathy Brau and her husband Bob of Walpole and Steven Hodge and his wife Terry of Medway. He is also survived by his siblings Katherine Rachuba of Baltimore and Patricia Aylmer of Bel Air, and Timothy Hodge of Cockeysville, Maryland. He was the brother of the late Joseph Hodge. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great-granddaughters. His funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 27 from the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home 3 Barber Street in Medway at 9:15 followed by a funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church at 10;00. Burial will be private. Calling hours will on Monday from 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to the Bethany Healthcare Center, 97 Bethany Road, Framingham, MA 01702.
